Charlton Country Fayre

A Country Fayre has been a key part of the village calendar in Charlton for many years, and is held annually in June, on and around the village green.

Last year's Fayre, held on June 16th 2018, was blessed with good weather. We changed the times slightly and as a result had a good turnout. We raised over £2000 for various charities, This combined with the friendly feeling of community resulted in an excellent day.

As always we need to start planning for this year’s event which will be held on Saturday 22nd June and run from 12:30pm to 4:00pm.

The event relies upon a number of people who help set up and take down the stalls, chairs, tables etc. plus people who will run a stall or help with the car park, refreshments etc.

If you would like to help with this year’s Fayre it will be much appreciated, so please feel free to come to the various planning meetings or alternatively let me know if you are available to help and in what capacity.

We will shortly be sending out a flyer asking for donations for this year’s Fayre.

A representative from Wychavon District Council will be at the Fayre offering a free security marking service for valuable items, plus you will be able to arrange to see him at a later date for larger items (trailers etc.) or if you have a large number of items to be marked. He will also advise on household security. This activity will be located at the Police stand.

Kind Regards
