All of the events listed below are now presumed to be cancelled due to Coronavirus issues. Some may be rearranged for later in the year, depending on how the virus issues progress. We suggest that you contact organisers of specific events to check.

Monday 13th April at Hampton Ferry, Evesham from 11:00am ~ 3:00pm - Easter Family Fun Day including charity stalls and sideshows, face painting, free Easter egg hunt and more. In aid of Evesham Adventure Playground.

Friday 26th June ~ Sunday 28th June - Evesham Festival of Words main festival weekend. Fringe events every month throughout the year including plays, author talks, writing workshops, short story competition and poetry.

New Art Exhibition about Evesham


Local artist Rohan Goonewardena has a fondness for traditional views, albeit with a modern take on them, using bold and vivid colours.


He also loves Evesham, and his exhibition called, suitably enough, ‘Evesham….this must be the place’ opened this week at the Victoria Avenue Arts Centre.


Rohan said: “It consists of paintings of Evesham and the surrounding area taken from photos I have snapped throughout the sixteen years I have lived here. From the River Avon and the Bell Tower to Broadway and Snowshill, we have some stunning views in and around Evesham.”


Rohan added: “I mainly paint in acrylics from my studio that is located a stone's-throw from the Evesham Arts Centre. My show will run until the end of February 2020 at the Victoria Avenue Arts Centre so please stop by and take a look.”


Round Evesham Walk

Evesham Rambling Club has devised a circular walk around Evesham for everyone to enjoy at any time, taking in many of the historic buildings and sites for which Evesham is famous. Explore Croome from above 

See panoramic views of Worcestershire from the top of Croome’s famous tower, which was built in 1801 for the 6th Earl of Coventry.

As the tower is usually closed to the public, this is an opportunity photographers will not want to miss.
